with the deadline drawing nearer and nearer i am now frantically trying out every possibility that comes to mind and that does involve revisiting ideas that i have already explored, for instance the pop up ads being inconveniently placed in certain situations as a sort of foggy view in what the world might crumble too in the world of advertising going from my initial point of protest that being ‘Clickbait and digital journalism’ However, that has dynamically changed as I’ve gone on now exploring the idea of google and other websites tracking your every finger print tapped on the screen but thats for another post. Back to the pop ups!
I started with a rough sketch of a person sat i a bus stop using basic vanishing points to achieve this look which can be seen, very rough to begin with and very basic however at this stage i liked the look, using the new brush i established in the previous post.
After trying multiple times on a style of painting the colours and the colour scheme itself i unhappily had to decide on this, for me the colours are way to bright and giving off an unreal and happy sense which is not what i wanted to achieve if you compare it to the early concept art of my pop up ads in the car and church, especially in my previous post when i actually did establish a colour scheme i liked and compliments the painting, Just another milestone to look back upon to see what works and what doesn’t. Moving on!
